We wanted to ensure our shot types were well picked and portrayed the action/thriller genre correctly. Below are a few shots which we were proud of:
This abstract shot of the fire created confusion but meant people want to watch more of the trailer.
We did a panning shot of the kitchen counter and then we got Lewie to pick up the gun from the draw and place it on the counter as I was performing a focus pull. To create this shot I put the camera on a pillow and slid it across the counter.
This is the green screen shot which is one of the shots we are most proud of. This is to show two members of the government watching CCTV cameras whilst a voiceover was going on.
This is a shot of Lewie climbing under a small gap between a shutter and the floor. We made Lewie fling his bag forward, crawl under and then collect his bag making it look like he crawled all the way under even though he only started with half his body out.
The final shot we have at the moment is this Car Chase Scene. I was in the back seat of the car with the boot open filming our two characters seemingly running away from something. Jak drove the car forward to get a cool shot.
