Chat Room Template and Testing.

For our chat room scene we didn't want to use a real chat room site so I decided to create our own. I positioned the participants on the left hand side and have the 'speaker' large on the right hand side. The website name is on top and the settings buttons are on the bottom. Needs improving but we will get there. 

Poster Designs.

We created four different poster designs for our trailer. As mentioned in my previous post, Taken had a very large impact on the designs we were creating. We liked the 'dark' side of the posters so we decided to go for the top right one. It reflects our trailer very well and the half light, half dark make it seem like he is in the good and the bad. 

Our next step is to start looking at fonts and positioning of our actor names and the film title. We also want him to be holding a gun in the poster but we won't be able to do this until we continue with our filming.

Test Shots.

Whilst waiting for confirmation from our actor about when he is free to film, we decided to test out some key shots around the school so we could understand more visually the shots we wanted to create.

This helped us get a more visual understanding of each shot and it was also easier to explain to our actors what we wanted them to do as we showed them these shots beforehand.
